Casa do Pandeiro is a woman-led cultural organization and music school dedicated to the community and legacy of pandeiros, one of the most important percussion instruments of Brazilian music. The intervention is supported by a funding program of the City of Rio to upgrade empty properties in the city center. The renovation includes a large multipurpose space that can be used as an educational exhibition space, workshops and musical perfomances.   ​​
